I have finished two books recently.  I physically read What If and listened on audiobook The Turn of the Screw

The Turn of the Screw  is a novella written by Henry James.  It is about a governess of two children who are haunted by two ghost.  It was creepy, even though you knew most of the information about the story about half-way through.  You are always in flux though, about the sanity of the narrator.  It was interesting.  Not the best of all time, but enjoyable.

What If  is actually two books of essays about the what ifs of history.  What if Alexander the Great had died ten years earlier than he did?  What if Socrates died in his forties?  What if Hitler didn’t commit suicide?  What if Marc Anthony and Cleopatra had won?  It makes you realize how easily history could have changed.  (Like the wind.)  It made me realize how great of a hold God has and how great his providence is.

Until Our Next Meeting.
