I finished reading The Great Gatsby yesterday.  I didn’t…hate it.  I didn’t like the plot.  I really didn’t like the plot.  However, F. Scott Fitzgerald is an amazing writer and I was able to over look the plot and just listen to his words.  The audiobook I used included several letters of Scott’s when he was trying to get the book published.  He mentioned an issue with the book (which I won’t tell you) that reaffirmed my self-confidence that I am not a terrible English-Ed major.

Read it so you can say you have read Fitzgerald, but not necessarily for an amazing plot.

Until Our Next Meeting.
